A Grade 1 winner on both Turf & Dirt and unbeaten in 7 of his final 8 starts. Retired sound with 9 wins from 13 starts and only out of the money when stretched to 1600m in a Derby lead up.

119 Beyer Figure, the Fastest 3yo of 2018 & 11 points higher than JUSTIFY’s peak rating.

By a new sire phenomenon in KANTHAROS a sire that is delivering Pre-potent speed and 17% Stakes Horses to runners from 5 crops of racing age.

Clocked a track record 1:06.36 when winning the Grade 1 1200m Jaipur Stakes on Turf – The fastest 1200m run in Australia is IGLESIA’s 1:07.16 at Flemington. The sire of WRITTEN TYCOON.

Cornerstone have strategically decided to not just stand a stallion, but to make a stallion and our acquisition of WORLD OF TROUBLE’s Southern Hemisphere breeding rights is drawing upon CS Hayes’s belief in a sireline with raw speed but also “the future belongs to those that plan for it”. In WORLD OF TROUBLE we have found a rare racehorse with exquisite and unbridled speed and have partnered with John Sikura of Hill ‘n’ Dale farm that is a visionary within the North American breeding circles. In much the same way as WITHOUT FEAR arrived in Australia for Colin Hayes in 1970, I feel as though WORLD OF TROUBLE will arrive in August 2020 as an infinitely better performed racehorse, but a stallion very similar in both physique and quality.

In addition to the inherent speed of this stallion, his ability to switch form the dirt to turf and back again is unheralded. To be a Group 1 winner on both surfaces is inspiring. Like Redoutes Choice or Secretariat and host of other pre-potent proven stallions in the last century, WORLD OF TROUBLE led from pillar to post in a tough on-pace style of racing. It’s a display of a superior biometric capacity or simply put; a bigger heart! By all accounts his sire KANTHAROS possess that pre-potency,  from 5 crops of racing age this sire sensation has gone from an opening service fee of $5,000 to $50,000 and has duly been relocated from Florida to Kentucky as a result. With his first Kentucky bred crop about to hit the tracks in 2020, this sire sensation is predicted to reach even greater heights and his STORM CAT sireline will likely live on through his sons that will be highly sought after.

Additionally, it is an honour to stand a colt in conjunction with John Sikura and Hill’N’Dale Stud, Kentucky. A thoroughbred nursery of note and a prodigious stallion making farm. In recent years, CURLIN and KITTEN’S JOY have risen to stardom whilst AP INDY stood tall and the deal to shuttle WORLD OF TROUBLE is the first time Mr Sikura has shuttled a stallion to Australia. An honour indeed.

“World of Trouble was uniquely talented as a Group One winner on both dirt and turf,” said Hill ‘n’ Dale president John Sikura. “Speed is a universally successful attribute for stallions in both hemispheres and World of Trouble was blindingly fast.”

In WORLD OF TROUBLE we have a typically balanced sprinter with a rich coat and a quality head. With perfectly correct limbs, he stands at 15.3hh tall and will thrive when placed over a robust Australian bred mare. Being from a STORM CAT line stallion and a VALID APPEAL female line, there wouldn’t be a mare that couldn’t be mated by this Stallion. But there isn’t a stallion in Australia that could run as fast as WORLD AS TROUBLE over the 1200m and that in itself is a reason to breed to this “bullet of a racehorse”.
