
Sam Hayes
Managing Director
Following five years in the wine industry Sam returned to Lindsay Park in 2001. After working for David Hayes in Sales & Marketing, he assumed the role of Managing Director of what was previously known as Lindsay Park Stud in 2005. In 2008 Sam purchased the Lindsay Park Stud business from David Hayes, which paved the way for the name change to Cornerstone Stud in May 2011.

Marty Roberts
Stud Manager
Starting at Cornerstone Stud in late 2017, Marty Roberts brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Barossa. After working in the management team at Coolmore for years, he then moved on to work as stud manager at Newgate Farm. Most recently, Marty took up a management position at Aquis in Queensland, before making South Australia and the beautiful Barossa home.

Sam Pritchard-Gordon
Bloodstock & Nominations Manager
Sam came to Cornerstone Stud in 2019 with an abundance of experience managing bloodstock. After starting at Arrowfield Stud, Sam moved into some of Australia’s premier racing stables before fine-tuning his horsemanship as a trainer in his own right.

Max Porlezza
Marketing Manager
Originally hailing from NSW, Max found his way to Cornerstone Stud in early 2017 after working as a cadet steward in his home state. Before then Max spent time working at Newgate Farm and in the racing stables of the legendary teacher Ron Quinton.

Greg Thomas
Administration Manager
Greg Thomas is the backbone of our administration. He handles all our bloodstock paperwork and everything from stallion bookings to insurance; transport to sale entries. If you want to know anything, you know you can always call Greg.

Kaye Faulds
Administration & Finance
Kaye joined us in 2014 and is a rock in the office, no job is too big or too small. She holds a permit trainers license so has an in-dept knowledge of everything from horse racing to computer systems, the ideal person for the position she holds within our team.
