Star Tasmanian gelding The Inevitable (Dundeel-Gift Bouquet, by King’s High) has won the 2023 Tasmanian Ladbrokes Horse of the Year award, reports tasracing.com.au.
The prestigious prize was announced at the Tasmanian Thoroughbred Awards dinner at the Tailrace Centre in Riverside in front of more than 180 guests.
Sold through Cornerstone Stud’s Magic Millions Adelaide yearling sale draft for $90,000, The Inevitable won five Listed races in Tasmania during the 2022/23 season and also finished third in the $5M All-Star Mile at Moonee Valley Racing Club behind Mr Brightside and Cascadian.
