Sir Prancealot’s filly plunders the Racing Rewards riches

A Sir Prancealot filly plunges the Racing Rewards Riches

Jon O’Connor is a talented trainer, but he is also a talented tipster! With 10 minutes to go before the $102,000 Adelaide Event Catering 2yo Plate, Terry McAuliffe landed the scoop that the daughter of SIR PRANCEALOT had improved on her debut 2nd and was considered a leading hope in Jon’s eyes……at the very tempting odds of 25/1 .

The tip (and win) also marked SIR PRANCEALOT’s debut Southern Hemisphere winner and duly launched him into the top 20 First Season Sires by prizemoney. From only 6 runners, “Sir P” is quietly building an impressive list of performers considering 5 of those runners have placed and they are from his smallest crop of 42 foals.

With crops of 70 & 74 foals to follow, the future is bright for Cornerstone’s SIR PRANCEALOT and we are confidently predicting a continual rise that will match his Northern Hemisphere deeds as proven sire of Group 1 performers. Furthermore, BELLE OF YORKE is now being tilted at the Listed Oaklands Plate

The Key to Success is Consistency

Part of the charm of racing is that nothing is ever 100% proven but some bets are certainly safer than others.

Sir Prancealot’s first Aussie two-year-old winner on Saturday (out of a Redoute’s Choice mare) means he has now joined 32 other Australian first season sires on the winning scoreboard.

Supporters of Sir Prancealot have had very few anxious moments wondering if his progeny will train on and if his 2021 fee will soon to be proven exceptionally good value. From small initial crops his Northern Hemisphere progeny include;

  • -3 x Group winner Lady Prancealot*. 5 wins, 1000m to 2000m. Santa Anita Oaks G1
  • -6x Group winner Sir Dancealot*. 10 wins to 1400m. Goodwood Lennox Stakes G2
  • -6x Group winner Beau Recall*. 8 wins to 1700m, Churchill Downs Distaff Mile G2
  • -5x Group winner Madam Dancealot*. 5 wins to 1800m, Del Mar San Clemente S G2

*All have either won or placed at G1 level.

His 2018 Northern Hemisphere two-year-olds have produced five Stakes performers including star filly Miss Amulet who won the G2 Lowther Stakes and placed in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile on Turf.
