2nd Group Three Golden Fleece Stakes (1600)
On his second start as a two-year-old he ran 2nd in the G3 Golden Fleece Stakes to the more experienced Australia who was subsequently crowned World Champion Three-Year-Old.


At 3 years- 2014

1st Group Three Kilternan Stakes (2000m)
On his reappearance as a three-year-old after 12 months off the racetrack due to injury he returned to annihilate his rivals in one of the fastest ever runnings of the G3 Kilternan Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend… this race was won the previous year by 2016 G1 Ranvet Stakes winner The United States. 3rd Group One Qipqo British Champions Stakes (2000m)
Still a three-year-old and on only his fourth career start Free Eagle was pitched into G1 company against older horses in the Qipqo British Champions Stakes and ran 3rd, beaten just 1 ½ lengths on unsuitably heavy ground by seasoned G1 winners Noble Mission and Al Kazeem. 1st Group One Prince of Wales Stakes (2000m)
He returned as a four-year-old and went straight to the G1 Prince of Wales Stakes at Royal Ascot where was victorious in a race previously won by such champions as So You Think, Quija Board and Dubai Millenium. Sent off the favourite against more experienced and race-fit rivals, he gave a beating to: The Grey Gatsby (winner of Irish Champion Stakes and Prix du Jockey Club), Criterion (Multiple Australian G1 winner), Spielberg (Japanese G1 winner), Cannock Chase (winner of the G1 Canadian International), Gailo Chop (2015 G1 Mackinnon Stakes winner), Ectot (G1 Criterium International winner).
